FIRESTOP SOFTWARE AND SERVICES AT A GLANCE

Our services covers everything from helping you find a compliant solution, to detailed BIM design and Engineering Judgement services.

INTEGRATED PROJECT DELIVERY: BIM

Digitised construction processes are key to managing scarce resources.
With Hilti as an Integrated Project Partner providing Integrated Design Services, your design, construction and facility teams can leverage industry-compliant BIM methodology to increase productivity before, during and after construction.

MEP SUPPORTS AND FIRESTOP SOLUTIONS

Integrated Design Services with 3D visualisations can help you optimise MEP installations, such as multi-trade supports that include firestop solutions, before construction begins.
Find ways to save material, avoid on-site improvisation and reduce construction time.
You can find out more about our BIM design services in here.

EXPERTISE IN YOUR POCKET: FIRESTOP SELECTOR

Selecting the right products and solutions for all the firestop applications in mechanical and electrical installations is a cumbersome process for many trade contractors.

In particular, architects, specifiers, engineers and designers often find this task takes more time than is normally available. It is not an easy task to study all the approval documents to be able to specify the correct and compliant solution and to give guidance on which products to use and how to install them properly.

The new Hilti Firestop ETA Selector now provides a great solution to these challenges, helping significantly reduce time and costs and ensure compliance. It is not only a product selector: it goes one step further and functions as a solution selector. Planners and engineers can define specific cable or pipe applications for a project and the software will dynamically suggest approved solutions for fire-rated walls or floors.

In addition, the new Hilti Firestop ETA Selector comes with a project dashboard showing all selected solutions at a glance and it's available both as a PC version or for your mobile phone.

COORDINATE EFFICIENTLY AND REDUCE RISK: FIELDWIRE

Fieldwire is the all-in-one tool, where the entire project team comes together to collaborate and share information in real-time.
Fieldwire can support with the management and documentation of both your design and installation of firestopping products and solutions.

You can find out more about Fieldwire here.

NON-STANDARD APPLICATIONS: ENGINEERING JUDGEMENTS

There may come a time where no standard tested solution is viable. Although, Hilti are determined to help avoid this occurrence through effective and efficient early design optimisation. In certain situations, Hilti may have the ability to support with the creation of an Engineering Judgement.

Our Hilti firestop solutions are tested against the most stringent test standards such as EN1366-3 and EN1366-4. However, it’s not possible to test every firestop application, essentially because as you are aware construction projects are all very different. That’s why we offer Engineering Judgements. These are custom designs and drawings, which we create for you based on your situation. Engineering Judgements are designed for applications, which aren’t approved by international or national guidelines.

To find out more about our Hilti Engineering Judgements, fill in our Engineering Judgement Request or contact your local Hilti team.
