How to calculate quantity of resin required to fix reinforcement in concrete.
Reinforcement is 12mm diameter,hole diameter 14mm and 325mm embedment

epoxy resin,what to calculate resin required to anchor reinforcement.

Thank you for your question Laurence. Normally there is a functionality in PROFIS Engineering or a Volume Calculator App to help you. But since the depth is out of scope when it comes to a fastener (6xd – 20xd) we have to do it old school 😊:
(πr2 (hole) - πr2 (rebar)) x depth of hole x 1,2 (waste) =
3,14x72-3,14x62)x325x1,2 = 15920 mm2 = 16 ml / rebar.
When using 500 ml cartridges the effective volume is around 460 ml because of waste in the beginning and what is left in the mixer in the end. So around 29 rebar / 500 ml tube if you drill and inject perfectly.
