Thank you for your question regarding HKD anchors.  In brief ETAG 001 Part 6 Anchors for use in non-structural applications.  This is aimed primarily at suspended ceilings and other applications involving the suspension of services from concrete soffits (Typically, depending upon the anchor location within the concrete soffit, the concrete structure itself may be considered as being in tension i.e. cracked) and redundancy is required i.e. Failure of one anchor does not lead to the collapse of the whole system. In comparison Single point fixing will be for applications where it is known that the concrete base material will remain in compression i.e. uncracked for the lifetime of the structure.
