Pry-out verification - derivation of shear force eccentricity

I am checking an anchor group against pry out failure mode. I am unsure as to how Hilti PROFIS calculates the eccentricity of the shear forces in the anchors? I thought the method was analogous to the derivation of the position of the resultant tensile force, but I don't think that is the case.

The figures I'm interested in are ec1,v and ec2,v in page 7 of the attached example.

Many thanks.

Never mind. Just re-calculated and obtained the same result.

In case anybody's interested:

  • calculate the position of the X component of shear in Y direction
  • calculate the position of the Y component of shear in X direction
  • based on the above, calculate moment about the centroid of bolt group and divide by the resultant shear. You obtain the radial distance to the resultant shear.
  • Decompose distance into X and Y. You now have eccentricity in X and Y.

Cheers.
